This place is seriously mind-blowing! The renovation is jaw-dropping, with wide plank wood floors and beautifully-tiled bathrooms. The decor is super stylish, with original molding and banisters. The common areas are amazing, with comfy seating, and a record player with a killer selection. They even have books that reflect local sites like Oak Island. We only stayed for one night before heading to the awesome Dining on the Ocean Floor event at Burntcoat State Park, but now we wish we had booked more nights at this stunning property. Everything was top-notch, from the recently remodeled rooms to the free Wi-Fi, free parking, electric kettle, cookware, games. If you're looking for a non-smoking stay in the area, this place is the perfect choice.

This place is absolute perfection. The recent renovation has transformed the property into a stunning gem. The wide plank wood floors, beautifully-tiled bathrooms with separate tub and shower, and original molding and banisters give it a truly luxurious feel. The paint colors throughout the house add a touch of elegance. The common areas are a dream, with comfortable seating, games, books, and a record player with a fantastic selection of records. It's clear that the owners put a lot of thought into the book collection, which includes local titles like Oak Island. As adults, we appreciated every detail. We only stayed one night before heading to Burntcoat State Park for the Dining on the Ocean Floor event, but we wished we had booked more nights at this lovely property.
